Relax, Enjoy, the hard work is done
Our combination of secluded setting and relaxed atmosphere is a great recipe for a peaceful relaxing break. We purpose built Wallaby Ridge in 2005 and we considered all those little things that we enjoy when on holidays so you can enjoy them too. The view, the independence, the pool, the spa, all the animals and birds closeby and the proximity of bushwalking, but no crowds thanks.
Meet your Hosts Robyn and John
The engineer, the artist, the builder, the collector, describes the combination of Robyn and John that created Wallaby Ridge from the blank canvas when it was purchased in 2000.
We carefully built around the tree line, planted the vineyard and native gardens on the abandoned sand quarry site. We tuned in to the rhythms of nature, then the community and the journey is reflected in our business. From the onset of June when the Scarlet honey eaters come in and feed on the native plantings around the house, to the annual Open Studio event hosted to welcome the community in May, we hold them all dear to us.
For our guests, we love to share our enthusiasm for our “little spot” in the Scenic Rim, often sampling “local product” from Bushwalks and attractions to Restaurants and Galleries to make sure you have a wonderful time.
